The Word, The Word, The Word
The word of God is of the utmost importance to you as a believer, you and I cannot be the believers that God desires us to be without the word.
We must endeavour daily to read the word of God and to hear it, someone once said “If you cannot hear God, begin to read God (the Bible) and you will soon begin to hear God”.
As you read the word of God with faith and expectancy it makes you sensitive with regards to hearing Gods voice and then, it is that word, the inspired and alive word of God that brings about faith that in turn will bring about change, order and deliverance to your life.
The word of God is the foundation on which faith grows in our lives and as it matures, faith releases the power of God into our lives and we begin to see things happen that we never thought could, simply because a measure of Faith has come along side our readings and hearing Gods word.
Simply said, no word no faith, no faith no victory, no victory we live in defeat.
I believe with all of my heart that we must be a word people and a word church especially in these times that we live in, for when all is said and done it is the word that will stand strong against all attack of the enemy. If there is someone who the devil cannot manipulate it is that believer who has the word of God growing on the inside of Him.
As believers and as a church we must continually put more emphasis on the word of God, sadly today more than ever before God’s people are word deficient, they do not know the word. Therefore they live by their emotions and on how they feel and not in faith.
As Romans 10:17 says “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God”. We cannot find any short cuts here in this verse, we must hear the word.
In this church we will make it our ministry to preach the word, the word, the word, knowing that it is the word that will feed and nourish you and bring about that Faith that will give you the victory.
